BONĠU! 1 competition

Décorez votre porte !

Bravo à tous !

We are incredibly proud of our talented and creative students of French from State, Independent and Church schools who took part the Bonġu! Issue 1 competition! 🏆 The challenge was to use creativity and imagination to decorate a school door with a French theme, and all students truly rose to the occasion.

The winning design among Middle Schools was that of St Thomas More College, Maria Goretti, Tarxien Middle School.  This door decoration featured a playful French culinary theme, inspired by the movie Ratatouille, with the slogan “Ici on aime manger!” and complete with the French colour theme, an Eiffel Tower and paper-crafted French food and pastries.  The winning design among Senior schools from St Thomas More College, Margaret Mortimer Secondary School, Santa Lucija featured a stunning model of the Eiffel Tower set against a glowing Parisian skyline, complete with the names of famous Paris streets and twinkling lights bringing the scene to life. ✨🗼Their attention to detail, teamwork and creative flair impressed the judges and showcased not only the students’ love of the French language, but also their artistic vision.

To complete this achievement, the subject’s Education Officer Mrs Farrugia, visited the winning school, spent time speaking with the students about their work, and personally presented certificates and prizes to celebrate their success.

Bravo à tous! Your creativity, teamwork, and motivation were truly inspiring !
