Her Excellency, the Ambassador of France to Malta, Madame Sandrine Lelong-Motta, accompanied by Monsieur Renaud Lallement, Cultural Counsellor at the Embassy, Mr David Schembri, representative of the EU House, and Ms Doreen Farrugia, Educational Coordinator for French, visited Lily of the Valley Secondary School in Mosta, part of Maria Regina College, on Friday, 9 May – Europe Day.

During her visit, the Ambassador attended a Year 9 French lesson alongside Ms Stephanie Zammit, Head of Department, and Ms Béatrice Calleja Palmier, teacher of French. The students had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss various topics with the Ambassador. Together with the school leadership, Her Excellency explored ways to increase the number of students choosing to study French at the school.
