  • The Malta Book Festival from 6th till 10th November 2024: German Stand

Webinars:                                     

3 German Summer Revision Webinars organised by the German Newsletter Team for Year 8 and Year 10 students of German. In total, there were 50 participants from state and non-state schools. Students practised the German language through the four skills, explored cultural aspects, and revised various language structures.

The German Maltese Circle will once again be organising film screenings for school classes at Messina Palace in Valletta. This year, the movie “THE LEGEND OF TIMM THALER” by Andreas Dresen has been chosen. TIMM THALER FLYER

  • Foreign Language Awareness and Intercultural Week Poster

A group of students from the United World College School in Italy, organised a language and intercultural project week at Maria Regina College and at St Theresa College. The aim was to involve Year 7 and Year 8 students in different language workshops which were moderated by native speakers of foreign languages which students learn at school: Arabic, French, Italian, German and Spanish.

On 26th and 27th February 2024 at Maria Regina College Middle School, Naxxar, involving all Year 8 students.

A teacher of German from Maria Regina College Middle School, Naxxar will be attending a B2/C1 Summer Language Course, at SDI München International University in Germany from the 03.07.23-28.07.23. The Foreign Languages Grants Scheme is providing the financial assistance.

Two year 11 students from St Thomas More College Middle & Secondary School, Zejtun will be attending a 3-week B1 Language Course, funded by the PASCH Initiative, in Bamberg, Germany from 06.08.23 till 26.08.23.

A group of year 10 students from Maria Regina College Secondary School Lily of the Valley, Mosta will be attending a 1-week A2/B1 Language Course, in Münich, Germany from 11.09.23 till 15.09.23. The Foreign Languages Grants Scheme is providing the financial assistance.
