Ms. Diletta Magdalena Guzzo, a language assistant from Germany, is working together with the teacher of German at St Paul`s Missionary College, to improve linguistic ability and raise cultural awareness in the Secondary School as well as in the Primary School.

Between the 22nd and the 24th of November 2023, a STEAM Cafe` was organised at Maria Regina College Secondary School Zokrija, Mosta. As the `A` in STEAM stands for `Arts`, the foreign languages department also organised some activities for students. For German, Ms. Mina Oelsner, the language assistant, prepared a presentation for students about scientists and inventors from German-Speaking countries. Following the presentation, students were invited to participate in a memory game featuring the same scientists and inventors. This proved to be a fun and enriching experience for our students.

Year 8 students of German were helped to learn the body parts in a playful way by singing a song. The song not only made learning fun, but also helped the students to memorise the body parts more quickly. Students worked diligently and attentively, allowing the language assistant, Ms. Melisa Elen Iscan, to use new methodologies.
