A magnifique cross-curricular collaboration!

Year 8 students at STMC Maria Goretti Middle School truly embraced the spirit of France during a recent Home Economics lesson, baking Les Palmiers — French biscuits.

This exciting adventure, led by both their teachers of Home Economics and French, allowed the students to practise their French vocabulary through a hands-on culinary experience. The result was not just a tasty treat, but a deeper, richer understanding of French culture and practical culinary skills.

It was a brilliant display of teamwork and cross-subject learning.
