Learning a foreign language is not just learning vocabulary and grammar rules. Learning a foreign language is learning about the country where that language is spoken, about its traditions and its people. Learning a foreign language is fun!!  On Thursday 20th October the students learning German in our school celebrated Oktoberfest! It was a kids’ version of the Oktoberfest… which means there was no BIER 😆. Just Wasser! Die Currywurst and der Kartoffelsalat were delicious. It was also an opportunity for Year 7 and Year 8 students learning German to get together and share experiences! Both students and teachers enjoyed this event!
