PASCH Events 2025-2026

1. Studientag DaF,  13th November 2025 in Bari: www.goethe.de/ins/it/de/sta/nea/ver.cfm?event_id=26816495

On the 13th of November we had the opportunity to attend a course in Bari. The course group was composed of German teachers from Malta and Italy. This was a study day focused on the reality of plurilingual and multilingual classrooms.
During this study day we discussed how to incorporate linguistic politeness and culture-specific interaction patterns in the classroom. This is particularly important in a multicultural context, given that German culture differs from that of other countries.
During this study day we also focused on reading and the different texts that can be presented in the classroom. It was interesting to learn more about the literature produced by migrants in Germany, as it differs from the literature we are accustomed to reading, but it can still be utilized in the classroom. In addition, we had the opportunity to gain insights into the reality of the Italian education system and to discover new teaching resources for the classroom.
Overall, this was a very positive experience, and we would highly recommend it to other German teachers. It was enriching in the pedagogical and cultural perspectives it offered.
